DIY - GAVETAS UNIDAS

Eu via sempre umas gavetas perdidas na casa da mãe e ficava me prometendo fazer alguma coisa com elas mas nada saía.
Esses dias atrás me pediram um passo-a-passo de uma estante feita com reaproveitamento.

Taí... esse foi meu pontapé inicial!

Segue lá o passo-a-passo:

Material:

Gavetas

Lixa 

Pincel macio

Rolo

Esmalte à base d'água (cor da preferência)

Pano umedecido

Massa para madeira (se for necessário)

Antes de tudo, lixe as gavetas. Se tiver algum puxador que não queira, retire e tampe o furo do parafuso com massa para madeira, espere secar e só depois lixe para igualar.

Passe um pano úmido para retirar a poeira que o lixamento fez.

Pinte os cantos e detalhes com pincel e o centro com rolinho.

Pintura finalizada, agora a transformação!

Disponha uma gaveta em cima da outra. Para ficar mais seguro, parafuse uma gaveta na outra.

Nesse caso, fizemos uma produção para usar a estantezinha como um bar mas é possível usá-la de outras formas como no banheiro para guardar cremes, para guardar bijuterias, na cozinha para guardar temperos e por aí vai, de acordo com sua necessidade ;)

OLD DRAWERS NEW SHELVES

There were some old drawers at my mother's house, that kept staring at me, begging me to do something fun with them.

So last week when someone ask me for ideas for a diy project for shelves I finally discovered what to do with those drawers!

So here's what I did:

Materials I used:

- abandoned drawers searching for a new meaning for their lives

- sandpaper

- a soft brush

- a small paint roller

- paint of your choice(I used enamel paint waterborne in black, white, gray and yellow)

- a moist cloth

- wood filler (if it need to)

Before anything I took off the knobs of my drawers (if yours don't have knobs less work for you, YAY!) and filled the holes with wood filler.

Then I sanded all the surface I wanted to paint, meaning everything.

To get rid of all that dust, an make the drawers ready for the paint, I cleaned them with a moist cloth.

First I painted the details and little corners with a small, very soft brush.

And for the large surfaces I used the roller, because it makes a smooth and more perfect finish.

After they're dry you can dispose them the way you want! See the best way they come together, it will depend on the size and how many drawers you have.

It's a good idea to secure them together using some screws, especially if your drawers are as narrow as mine...

But this is it!!

You can use your new shelves for anything really, as a mini bar like I did, for storing jewelry, keeping spices, any-thing.
